We decided that now "Sally" was alive & kicking we would see what she could actually do and decided that we should take her to the track....
We started out on Friday and made our way to Billing Aquadrome for the the NSRA "Billing Fun Run". It was a good weekend altouhgh sadly the weather did put a damper on things. All said and done we had a great time in our brand new 6 berth Static Caravan - definately the way to go...
We arrived on Friday after a very sucessful journey up nothing dropped, lost or broken. All credit to Steve & Jim for a great engine.
We got up early Sunday 1st June and made the short journey over to Santa Pod Raceway for the Classic Ford Show. The usual chaos greeted us and finally we manged to get into the pits. First things first, off with the exhaust. With the car sounding really good we made our way down to the start line for the first run.

We were all really pleased with the run the only problem was that we had trouble selecting first and the car took off in second.

The nut behind the wheel pulled a cherry! Interesting run, Jim found first gear lit the tyres off the line changed to second and promptly did a 1000ft burnout. Still we had a really good day and are more than happy with the performance of the car and the engine is good and strong and we are now looking forward to the NSRA Hot Rod Drags in Septemeber.
